Purolite A850 is a premium gel-type strong base anion exchange resin engineered with an acrylic matrix, specifically designed for tannin removal, organics reduction, and excellent resistance to fouling. This high-capacity resin is ideal for residential and commercial water treatment systems, delivering superior performance in both standalone and mixed bed applications.

The acrylic gel structure ensures efficient regeneration using lower sodium hydroxide concentrations compared to polystyrene-based Type 1 resins, while still effectively removing weaker acids such as carbonic acid and silica. For broader contaminant removal, Purolite A850 can be combined with a polystyrene-based resin to form a powerful mixed bed system.
