The Hydronix HTC-2520 combines sediment filtration with phosphate scale prevention in a single cartridge. PhosCoat media deposits a protective coating on pipes, fixtures, and appliances, preventing scale buildup while removing particles down to 5 microns. This dual-action filter is ideal as a prefilter for tankless water heaters, boilers, and solar hot water systems where scale formation and sediment protection are both critical.
