I use this meter to measure gallons of RO water for marine aquarium use. It has the ability to measure five different flows, and the cumulative flow overall. The downside is that to see how much flow has gone through the meter during use, you have to stop the flow and push the “Filter” button, then resume flow. The “Reset” button is so delicate that the first time I pushed it the rubber button was pushed under the housing. This required me taking apart the entire meter to get the button aligned with the hole. Not a fun process! This meter gets the job done, and is unique in its ¼” application. It just takes some getting used to and adapting your process for use.

I have had this about 2 years. I have a RO system with DI. The RO goes to the kitchen sink and the DI is off to my aquarium. While I can't really verify the amount of water through the meter, it is much better than trying to guess or simply wait 6 months and either have an underused or worse over exhausted filter. Water quality is very important. As long as I am close to the "believed" filter life is ok with me. I have had no issues with the buttons, however, I noticed that the meter is showing flow when in reality there appears to be no flow. I also just had to change batteries just recently. I lost all the settings when I pulled the batteries. When the batteries were replaced I saw a AJDL on the screen and the instructions don't describe what that is. Now the unit shows flow and there is no obvious flow. When there is flow, you can't change or view your filter use. Overall, a very good product, clearly give you accurate filter life, set up is easy, works as described.
