INSTALLATION & USE
Setup and Maintenance
- Turn off water supply and relieve pressure from your Big Blue housing by opening the pressure release valve
- Unscrew housing, remove old filter, and insert the Unicel K-40715-B with white end caps facing up and down
- Lubricate o-ring with silicone grease, hand-tighten housing, and slowly turn water back on to check for leaks
- When flow rate decreases, remove filter and spray clean with a garden hose to dislodge sediment and restore performance
- Replace filter when pleats are damaged or cleaning no longer restores adequate flow
