INSTALLATION & USE
Replacing Your E5785 Filter
- Shut off water supply and relieve system pressure by opening a downstream faucet
- Unscrew the old E5785 filter from the existing Omnipure permanent head by turning counterclockwise
- Hand-tighten the new E5785 filter into the head by turning clockwise until snug
- Restore water supply and check for leaks around the cap connection
- Flush system for 2-3 minutes to activate the phosphate media and clear any air

The E5785 uses Omnipure's universal E-Series cap, which threads directly into any permanent Omnipure filter head without adapters. This filter is ideal for coffee machines, ice makers, beverage dispensers, and residential applications where scale prevention is needed but mineral content should remain unchanged. Not intended for sediment or organic contaminant removal—use in conjunction with sediment and carbon filtration stages for complete water treatment.
🔧 Replace the E5785 every 6-12 months depending on water hardness levels. If you notice scale returning to fixtures or equipment, replace the filter sooner—phosphate media exhausts faster in high-hardness conditions.
