- Turn off water supply to the filter system and relieve pressure by opening a downstream faucet.
- Twist the old filter cartridge counterclockwise to disengage from the bayonet-style head, then pull down to remove.
- Check the o-ring on the new CK5620 for proper seating, then align the cartridge tabs with the head slots.
- Push the filter upward into the head and twist clockwise until it locks securely into place.
- Turn water supply back on slowly, check for leaks, and flush the new filter for 3-5 minutes before use.
COMPATIBILITY
Direct Fit Replacement
The Omnipure CK5620 is engineered as a cost-effective alternative to Cuno 3M CS-15 filter cartridges and fits any system designed for SQC bayonet-style quick-connect heads. This includes many under-sink water filtration systems, RO pre-filter stages, and commercial Water Factory units. The CK-Series body uses the same dimensional and connection standards as OEM Cuno filters, ensuring drop-in compatibility without modification to existing housings or plumbing.
🔧 Pro tip: Before installing a new CK5620, inspect the bayonet head for mineral buildup or debris around the connection ports. A quick wipe with a damp cloth ensures a clean seal and prevents premature o-ring wear.
