Description

The FILMTEC NF90 membrane elements provide high productivity performance while removing a high percentage of salts, nitrate, iron and organic compounds such as pesticides, herbicides and THM precursors. The low net driving pressure of the NF90 membrane allows the removal of these compounds at low operating pressures.

Questions & Answers

Q:  can this filter be used to desalinate ocean water for use on a sail boat? What pressure will be required and can the filter handle the high pressure?
Asked by:  - 2/8/2014 (Submit an answer)
A: This is meant for brackish/tap water. I don't think you should use it on sea water. I recommend using SW30-4040 and you will need about 1000 psi for it to work properly.
