The GE Merlin Activated Carbon Post-Filter is the final stage of the GE Merlin reverse osmosis system used to "polish" the product water one last time for that perfect drinking water taste. The Merlin Carbon Post Filter should be changed every 6-12 months based on water quality and usage.
