Flow-Max® cartridges are pleated to give them maximum filtration surface area. Therefore it only stands to reason that they have a longer filter life and thus require fewer replacement cartridges. This 0.35 micron cartridge is compiled of high-quality 100% cellulose free synthetic polyester. The filter media is bacteria resistant and free of any binders or additives that may leave a residue or cause contamination or foaming. Pressure drop is significantly lower in pleated cartridges, compared to "depth" filtration cartridges. Therefore, you can achieve the same flow rates with smaller filter housings, reducing filter housing costs.
