COMPATIBILITY & APPLICATIONS

Where This Filter Works

The Unicel T-1120-01-B is designed for whole-house and well water systems requiring fine sediment removal and cyst reduction. It fits standard 20-inch filter housings with 2.5-inch diameter cartridge capacity, commonly used in residential and light commercial applications. Ideal as a primary sediment stage before carbon filtration, reverse osmosis, or UV disinfection systems where particulate removal is critical. This cartridge is not cleanable due to its 1 micron absolute rating and multi-ply laminate construction.

💧 Unlike cleanable 5+ micron cartridges, the 1 micron T-1120-01-B uses a multi-ply laminate that cannot be backwashed or rinsed. Plan for replacement every 3-6 months depending on sediment load, or when you notice a significant drop in water pressure.
