reverse osmosis water filter system Type
Crafted from the finest elements available, our reverse osmosis faucets are built to last and start with precision engineering and careful attention to detail. Using stainless steel spouts, nickel-plated inlets, pre-installed tubing, and quick-connect fittings, PureT faucets beat all industry standards, earning both NSF and UPC certification. You won't find a better reverse osmosis faucet on the market.

Specifications:
  • Weight: 0.80 lbs
  • Height: 8.5"
  • Width: 5.75"
  • Depth: 1.25"
  • Color: Available in Chrome, White, Black, Almond, Red, Bisque, Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Stainless Steel, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Brushed Nickel. (see "More Images" above)
  • Air Gap: An air gap faucet which contains an empty space built in the base of the faucet. Air-gap faucets have three lines attached to them. (1) line from the tank to the faucet (2) a water line from the brine water side of your RO. (3) a drain line for the brine water that attaches to the drain saddle. Please check your local code to determine if an air-gap is required. These are typically used for reverse osmosis systems and can be used as a non-air gap faucet.

  • Non-Air Gap: Non air gap faucets have no Air-Gap function built into them. These faucets have a single line from the tank to the faucet.  These can be used for any water filtration system including reverse osmosis systems.

Air Gap Water Faucet Installation:
  • Drill a 7/8" (22mm) hole in the sink or counter top or use the available hole.
  • First place the escutcheon plate (chrome trim plate), then the larger black rubber washer onto the faucet stud.
  • Attach the 1/4" brine water discharge line to the brine input (small) barb and 1/4" or 3/8" drain line to the brine output (large barb).
  • Insert the faucet stud into the hole and from under the sink and assemble the rest of the hardware as shown. Insert the large metal washer and plastic spacer. Install the lock nut and then tighten firmly while positioning faucet as desired.
  • CAUTION! DO NOT over tighten the nut, as it may cause damage to the sink or faucet.

Connecting Drinking Water Supply to the Faucet:
  • If you have a quick-connect type tube-to-faucet connector (not included), simply screw it onto the faucet stem. These fittings are available for 1/4" and 3/8" tubes and usually include an O-ring, eliminating the need for Teflon Tape.
  • Firmly hand tighten and insert the supply tube as with other quick-connect type fittings.
  • For standard compression fitting, back the compression nut onto the water supply tube to be attached. Slip over the feed tube and the ferrule (use of plastic ferrules for Polypropylene tubes is highly recommended) and insert the metal or plastic support into the end of the tube. Push the tube and insert into the faucet stud until it stops. While holding the tube in place, tighten the compression nut onto the end of the faucet.
  • DO NOT over tighten.
