Pleated membrane provides absolute 0.15 micron retention to physically remove bacteria, Cryptosporidium, Giardia, and other protozoan cysts. Achieves greater than 6 Log bacteria reduction and 4 Log cyst reduction without chemicals.

Housing Requirements
The Pentek MG-CCBR fits all standard 10-inch filter housings with 3G threads, including Pentek, Pentair, and most aftermarket brands. The cartridge requires a sump-style housing with adequate clearance for the 2.75-inch outer diameter. For best performance in microbiological applications, install as the final stage after sediment pre-filtration or use as a standalone unit in municipally treated water where microbial contamination is a concern.
