As you unscrew the Q-Series cartridge, the valved head automatically closes and stops water flow at the source. No need to locate or turn off a separate valve.

Works With All Q-Series Cartridges
This valved head is designed specifically for Omnipure Q-Series inline water filters in all micron ratings and media types, including carbon block, GAC, sediment, and specialty cartridges. The 1/4" FPT connection is standard across residential and light commercial filtration systems. Note that NPT sizing measures larger than nominal dimensions—a 1/4" NPT thread actually measures 0.540 inches in diameter when checked against a ruler or caliper.
