Two-Phase Filtration and Conditioning
Carbon Block Adsorption
Compressed carbon block media at 10 micron rating traps chlorine, sediment, cysts, and particulates while adsorbing volatile organic compounds that affect taste and odor.
Polyphosphate Conditioning
Food-grade polyphosphate crystals dissolve gradually into the water stream, sequestering hardness minerals to prevent scale deposits on fixtures, appliances, and downstream filtration equipment.
Filtered and Conditioned Output
Water exits free of chlorine taste and odor with reduced scaling potential, suitable for drinking, beverage prep, and equipment protection at flow rates up to 0.5 GPM.

Application and Installation
The E5321-P uses Omnipure's Easy Change cap system for tool-free installation in compatible inline housings. Commonly used as a pre-filter or polishing stage in reverse osmosis systems, under-sink drinking water setups, ice makers, beverage equipment, and coffee machines where both chlorine removal and scale prevention are required. Install after sediment pre-filtration and before RO membranes or point-of-use dispensers. Not intended for use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the unit.
