Ideal Use Cases
The Oakton WD-35805-13 ORP electrode is designed for general purpose oxidation-reduction potential measurements in relatively clean water samples and field conditions. The single-junction design makes it well-suited for tap water, treated effluent, and environmental monitoring where sample contamination is minimal. This electrode pairs with Oakton meters and any ORP-capable instrument accepting standard BNC connections. Best results are achieved in applications without heavy particulates, sulfides, or proteins that can foul the platinum sensor or clog the reference junction.
