Replacement schedule
Standard Replacement
Replace cartridge every six months or 2,500 gallons, whichever comes first. Monitor for reduced flow rate or pressure drop.
Heavy Use or Poor Water Quality
Replace more frequently if treating heavily chlorinated water, high iron content, or experiencing elevated sediment levels.
Bacterial Protection Required
Polyphosphate is a nutrient for bacteria. Do not use with non-chlorinated water unless UV, KDF, or ceramic bacterial protection is installed downstream.
