Activated Alumina Fluoride Removal Filter (1025AA)
The IPW Industries 1025AA uses activated alumina media to selectively adsorb fluoride ions from drinking water, addressing health concerns in areas with naturally high fluoride levels or over-fluoridated municipal supplies. This 9.75" x 3" cartridge fits standard 10-inch housings and also reduces arsenic, selenium, and certain heavy metals through chemisorption.

Housing Requirements
The 1025AA fits any standard 10-inch filter housing with 3-inch inner diameter. Due to the low flow rate requirement of 0.1 GPM, this filter is best suited for dedicated drinking water lines or point-of-use applications rather than whole-house filtration. Install after sediment pre-filtration for optimal performance and longevity. Not recommended for water with fluoride levels below 2 mg/L, as activated alumina requires sufficient contact time and may not justify the slow flow rate in low-fluoride scenarios.
