Seems Ok
I've been using a different brand 1 micron sediment filter. This one (WB-1-W) was about 3 dollars lower cost than the other one I was using and I need a test buy ( I had never ordered from isopurewater before). I am happy to report that I received my order in a timely fashion. Harmsco's website appears to be down at the moment, but the company is based in the USA. I won't really know how well this filter performs until I replace it (in about a year), but based on the quality of the part I suspect it will do just fine at prefiltering and protecting the following carbon block filter from a bunch of gunk in the water. This filter is rated a 1 micron. If you need to filter out bacteria, then you will need 0.15 microns or smaller. To filter viruses you'll need 0.02 microns or smaller. Filters that small are difficult to find and not really required if all you are doing is filtering city water like me.
