The BW30-2540 is designed for light industrial and commercial brackish water RO systems with flow requirements under 1 GPM. Requires a 2.5" × 40" membrane housing with appropriate end caps and brine seal assembly. Hard shell construction makes this element ideal for multi-element vessels containing three or more membranes, where internal pressure differentials demand greater structural strength than standard tape-wrapped elements. Compatible with all Filmtec-specified cleaning protocols across the full pH 1-13 range. Verify feed water chemistry and operating pressures match test conditions (225 psig, 2000 ppm TDS) for rated performance. Not intended for seawater desalination applications.
