The Aries AF-10-3000 uses food-grade softening resin to remove hardness minerals through ion exchange, preventing scale buildup in appliances, coffee equipment, and small water systems. This larger 3-inch diameter body holds more resin than standard 2.5-inch cartridges, extending service life in moderate to heavy hardness applications.

Housing Requirements
The AF-10-3000 fits standard 10-inch filter housings with minimum 3-inch inner diameter clearance. This includes most clear body housings designed for larger diameter cartridges, commonly used in commercial coffee equipment, ice machines, and point-of-use applications where scale prevention is critical. Not compatible with slimline 2.5-inch housings. Verify your housing ID before ordering, as this cartridge requires the wider 3-inch body to accommodate the increased resin volume.
